Hyperacusis / Tensor Tympani Aggravated by Cold Weather / Flu?

Greetings,

Does anyone's tensor tympani & hyperacusis get worse in winter or after a cold or flu? I feel this really triggers it for me. I had symptoms for 5 months last winter and summer I was fine. Then it started all over again in the exact same month a year later after again a flu.

Would love to hear your experience.

At the moment I have my first flu after acquiring hyperacusis. No change in hyperacusis and tinnitus.
