What do you think to having more HBO?
At this point I am not sure. My T seems more sensitve now.

FINALLY my T has calmed down; I thought it would never happen. Went for a walk today and picked up aluminum cans out of the road ditch. I live in the country and I will never understand why people are so lazy they can't take their trash home with them. Instead they throw it out in the road ditch. Sorry for venting.
I have been trying to mask my T some during the day with a frequency finder I found. It seems to help a little sometimes. I am supposed to take a trip to Germany in a week and have to decide Monday if I am going or not. If I continue to feel better I might, but I am a little worried about my T spiking with the long flight.
Good luck Goofy. Do noise cancelling headphones actually protect your ears from noise?

So does anyone think HBOT might be beneficial to me? I could at least call up the department to ask if they would do it. Note, I have had tinnitus for nearly 10 years, but recently made it a bit worse. I am wondering if the HBOT could help alleviate the recent worsening or if I am just pissing in the wind.
Sounds like you'll be ok then. Let us know how you go on with the flight.
So it was lack of sleep rather than than the plane noise or compression that made the T worse?]
What would you hope to achieve by taking it, the anti-D effect or sleep enhancement?
Are you going to take the Amitrip then Goofy?
A lot of people wear earplugs for mowing. Its too loud. If you use a decibel meter on it you will see. I use plugs for hoovering too.
Doubt your audiologist will know about drugs. In the end itll be to you to dig up all the info you can from the net and make your own decision. That seems to be the way of things with T, its very DIY
I agree that doctors and ENT etc don't know anything about this treatment and they are the ones who should know.
