Hi all. I have an issue where I get dizzy (with a bit of nystagmus), when I stick my finger into my left ear (gently pushing and pulling creating a small vacuum).

I have no acoustic trauma or head traumas, but a bit mild tinnitus in the left ear (diagnosed 6 years ago by audiologist).

Any help is appreciated on what condition(s) this could be that creates the dizziness with finger vacuum. :)

      Loud music - noise damage
If you stick your fingers into both of your ears, will this not happen? If not, my suggestion would be to not finger just one ear, but both ears.

Hi. It does not happen in my right ear. If my fingers are inserted in both ears (simultaneously), the sensation still only occurs in my left ear.
