I Hate Shaving

I do to . I remember as a kid I could not wait till I was older and had to shave. A stupid right of passage into manhood I guess. Then for years it was shave everyday in the military and then civilian life as a fireman. I am now retired and shave about once a week. I usually look like a bum but who cares.

Being half-Korean, I usually only shave once a week, sometimes two. Even once a week, I still don't like it even though it only takes me a minute. Guess I have nothing to complain about! What you see in my pic is best I can do after several years. :)

BTW, everyone who hates shaving, learn to love shower shaving.

Seriously, no fuss, no time wasted, you do it while you shower, saves you time and feels great.

My tinnitus is growing a beard.

The other day, I received a note on a very small piece of blue paper (signed by a notary public, no less) on which my tinnitus indicated it is taking this dubious, if incredible step to protest the fact that I ignore it.

Included was a rudimentary sketch of a Van Dyke, a style chosen, I am sure, in remembrance of Anthony van Dyck, a 17th century Flemish painter for whom this type of beard is named, and whose tinnitus was once favorably compared with the beleaguered belching of his most famous subject, Charles I.

This news could not have come at a better time! I was trying to figure out, with little success, why one of my tinnitus sounds had suddenly disappeared. I now believe it is because my tinnitus stopped shaving several weeks ago.

I hate shaving too!!! So I grew a full beard and my wife (and quite a few others) said I looked like a creeper, so I nixed it and now back to shaving! Although I kept a little flavor saver goatee for style points !!

I tried to shave once in the shower and not having a mirror, I cut myself all up, I did have a mirror at first but it got all foggy with steam.

I tried an electric shaver and could not get a clean close shave, so I went back to a razor..

I want to get a straight razor that I can keep sharpening over an over; have you noticed the price of razor-refills these days!?!?!

Most shaving cream have propane (propylene glycol in them). I found this today, so this explains why I can't stand the smell of the shaving cream.
