Tinnitus Since
04/2014 (many increases since then)
Cause of Tinnitus
Progressive hearing loss / noise / ETD
I've noticed that for a few weeks after I came home for summer, I didn't have as much opportunity to eat all of that delicious junk food as my mother stocks her fridge with fruits and veggies most of the time and anything packaged that was in our pantry is nuts and such. But then I started going back to work and there I have more access to inflammatory junk foods and I've noticed while I wasn't eating so much bad food my ETD didn't bother me and my T was relatively lower or less bothersome. And when I started eating more inflammatory foods again my ETD started bothering me again and my T is louder in the ETD ear. So I'm going to try consuming more anti-inflammatory foods (starting by figuring out what they are) and see how that works out for me. What do you guys think? Have any of you tried this and have gotten results?

Hi derpytia, If you're T has anything to do with inflammation and blood circulation then there's a good chance you will get some positive results from an anti-inflammatory diet.

...and yes, I've had some good results from this. My T has calmed down a lot recently. As soon as I have anything with a lot of sodium for example, my T tends to increase.

What do you guys think?

Its definitely worth a try, you don't have anything to lose.

Have a look at these threads. They contain most of the info you're after on this subject.

Clean food and clean environment does help...
my sinus issues and excess mucus issues are almost at very bottom every since i moved back to Singapore.. almost a month ago now. Basically less pollution and cleaner air, good sleep less stress all these help. I can not say the same about the food i eat though, but its definitely cleaner than 5 months ago.
