Hey people.

Today I woke up and noticed my tinnitus had increased. I sleep through everything so maybe there was something loud in my street while I was asleep?

I live on a street where many cars pass, normally they are all quiet, sometimes motorcycles are loud but just not loud enough to make my tinnitus worse.

So could it be that something loud happened during the night?

Thanks,
Willy

Same thing happend to me today, no idea why but my tinnitus seems a bit worse and more constant (altough i am not 100% sure). So i try to take it as a random spike and do my usual stuff (taking NAC, upping my Melatonin at night) and hoping for it to go down again.

Volume almost always necessarily fluctuates and can be affected by a host of things (for me the volume gets wild if i'm sleep deprived; it usually goes back to a low level after I get decent rest). I'd be very doubtful the cause is ambient noise from outside the window.

It's a random spike, it happens, I've had multiple spikes a day myself most of the time.

I had spikes in the middle of the night and I spike at work, mine are random. I don't let it upset me. Mine does go back to normal. And that's what it is all about.
