Driving to my daughter's house on Christmas Eve, for an Xmas dinner, I hit the kerb of a central road traffic island, which should have been illuminated, but unfortunately wasn't.
The impact destroyed the tyre and the driver's seat when the airbag detonated.
My car was a write-off.
I arrived two hours late for the meal, awaiting a breakdown service, but other than being shaken up, I was okay.
That's quite enough of my tale of woe.
I would like to thank so many members on Tinnitus Talk for their kindness and support for me over the last few years.
I have appreciated every sentiment.
This picture appeared on my Facebook feed today, and I would like to extend these thoughts and wishes to every one of you.
Thank you all once again, for your love and kindness.
