Before I got my TMJ splint 3.5 years ago, 2 months into my tinnitus from neck and jaw issues my tinnitus was bad and I had 4-5 different sounds in my head. Now I have 1-2 sounds so the splint has helped.
I'm about to go to this new chiropractor who says he can fix TMJ (I can only open my jaw about 75% and it clicks).
My question is if the chiropractor realigns my jaw so I can open it all the way, would the splint bring it back to its current alignment and not allow my jaw to correct itself?
