A thousand or two. My parents can't just shell tens of thousands for tinnitus. Then again, tinnitus is just an annoyance, not a life risking threat.

All my savings to be T and H free and live normally again.
But for phantom limb pains I would rather lose a leg than have T and H.

Whatever the price is...that's how much I'd pay. Sell it all... live simple. Seriously. I'm sure my family and friends would rally behind me to get the sum. I'd rather live in a my tent than with this...lol.... It helps that camping is one of my joys.. :)

I finally bought a new car -- Mazda CX-5

Nice car!

Come to Baja México, we could maybe drive all the península highway watching the pacific ocean. Tinnitus will be still there at the end, but the ocean should do the trick jeje.

I really enjoy when people keep doing and buying what they love without worrying about T. That is the real parameter of success in T improvement.

About how much I would pay.... I would pay around 5,000 USD only if it includes the cure for my H and hyper sensible ears.

Only for T?, maybe around half of that.

Just reading the question in the title. It's like a question the "Big Pharma" would ask. Them wondering if they could make enough money off of it. All about $$$

Since I have no job now partially due to T I'd sell my house I own to go back to being pre T (no horrible head noise, no ear pain/discomfort, no abnormal sensitivity to sound)

If that would happen then I could work my ass off and own a house again by the time I retire but more importantly I could enjoy life again (even doing those little things I took for granted at the time)

I'll rob a bank.

And spend life in prison for maybe 20 years? If we follow @Dr. Nagler's line of posting in less than 20 years you will be less annoyed by your T than being in prison. Plus the chance of getting worse instead of better out of prison is higher than with T which may go worse, but has a higher chance of getting better (or you are coping better with it).

I'd give more than I already have. I'd get a loan and then start to seek where I could get more money (sell a kidney maybe?). Do you hear us pharmaceutical companies? You'd be super rich and it would be fully deserved.

But question about money is easy. For me better question is on what other health condition would you trade it off?
There are not that many I would not prefer over T..

I too have considered no legs verses no T.

On a bad day, I'd give 50 to 100% of my life's savings. On a good day I would hope economy of scale would lower the price.

Over the years the bad days have become fewer, the legs are now off the table!

If you knew that if you shelled out the cash, it would stop your tinnitus, how much would you pay?

Thinking about generating a sort of pseudo-RFC (Request for Cure) that shows researchers a small sample of the prize waiting for them on the other end of their work.

YCombinator specifically posts RFS (Requests for Startups) and I think it would be interesting to circulate the info if it's as "valuable" as I imagine it will be.
