Cause of Tinnitus
140dB B R U H moment
I officially get to see an ENT in a month. That's good. I am hoping I can get some answers that can help me reduce my tinnitus. In the meantime I have a dentist appointment and will look at TMJ. I've noticed that when I bite down for a long time, my tinnitus spikes (according to a doctor here, that's a 50% chance of TMJ tinnitus). My tinnitus is also extremely somatic, so I will try to get a massage and see if that works.

Since I have a lot of fluid in my ears and sinuses, I want to see an ENT for answers that may improve my hearing, because it's always so plugged up.

My tinnitus is pretty bad though, and I've decided that if I can't get a reduction doing this then I will commit suicide. There's a good chance that I only have a month left to live, so I want to spend it living life. I don't want to be on a depressing forum for long. There's some things I want to do before I go and in preparing for the worst. I'll hopefully hop on every now and then but I won't be nearly as active for at least a month.

Please don't kill yourself. Don't let it win :'/ I am very suicidal as well... I can't relate because I don't have tinnitus (yet) I feel that I will soon though I've thought about killing myself if it does come but I'm gonna make a promise to myself that I won't let it. I'm gonna be strong and I want you to be strong ❤️

Worry about yourself.

I understand. Try googling if there is a way to get rid of your hearing on completely on one side that's what I'm thinking about doing. I rather be deaf on one side of my ear then head constant ringing

Doesn't work like that. Tinnitus is a misplastic adaption of the brain. Meaning getting rid of hearing will only make it worse.

Just please before you try to end your life just look for some type of way to ease the ringing or get rid of it

That's what I've been doing.

@threefirefour -

Based upon all you have written and those memes you post, your statements that your tinnitus is severe and then you say it is not... with respect, it appears you are a highly emotionally troubled young person who is in need of mental health assistance. While you may have tinnitus - - -more importantly, based upon your consistent, negative behavior in this forum you are clearly a disruptive force to many here in addition to being extremely disrespectful to those who wish to help you. It appears you enjoy being a quarrelsome person and you casually issue comments on a most serious subject, namely suicide and there may be some here who might actually take you seriously. I, for one, do not. You have proven to be extremely immature and you have irked many by your antics. You and a few other unruly members speak negatively concerning any chance for habituation and instead prefer to almost endorse self-harm. I truly hope you do not influence anyone who is earnestly seeking help.

Be kind to yourself and consider seeking the counsel of an experienced mental health professional since your behavior on this forum appears to indicate you are a very troubled person.
