I'm Sure That Curing Tinnitus/Hearing Loss Is This Simple (Raw Sea Anemone / Traditional Medicine)

This is ridiculously wrong.
According to modern medicine, it is. But why should you trust modern medicine when it leads to being prescribed ototoxic drugs to mask anxiety/depression?

It is correct according to traditional medicine.

It may seem like a stupid idea, but it's so stupid, it might actually work.

It would be a shock to those neurons creating T, and who knows, it just Might be the thing that would get them to "snap out of it."
Do our bodies secrete repair proteins when we are set on fire?
I can't even tell if you're being serious or joking lol.

If you really honestly think that will work, create a post about it and tell us if it worked. What you said sounds very illogical and is not backed up by anything other than your belief that it will work. You sound like you've given up on alternatives because so many of them have not worked.

There is some logic behind eating raw sea anemone. It is not just a belief that eating raw sea anemone will work. Sea anemone secrete proteins that repair their hair cells on their tentacles when they are damaged. This is traditional medicine that I am talking about here. It goes very far back, and is not "proven" by studies. It was posted in Alternative Treatments and Research for a reason.

Well then if it's your opinion, instead of saying "this is ridiculously wrong", you could say "I really do not think this will work". Do you see the difference?

People are obviously sick of hearing you talking about it, either muscle up and buy some anemones, or stop with the pointless conjecture.

Hi, would you be interested in a partnership with Mr David R. Case?
You could encourage people to buy a bundle including a pair of koss headphones and a few freeze-dried anemones.

How is that different from what you have been doing?

What is the relation to the hair cells in the human ear, other than the fact that in English both of these have the word "hair" in their name?

For sea anemones and for people, they are used to sense what is around us. Sea anemone use them to sense changes in the current and see if prey are nearby. They have so many that they act as both ears and eyes. Because of this, they are very important for their survival. This explains why they secrete proteins to repair damaged hair cells.

One aspect of traditional medicine is consuming from healthy animals the damaged organ/body part. Setting yourself on fire is not based off of any form of medicine/healing from the past or in the present, although it has been used as a form of protest by monks against discrimination. You could use it as a form of protest, but there is no foundation for its use in healing health issues. The only thing backing up setting yourself on fire to cure tinnitus is your belief.

The placebo effect could work, though. If you strongly believe it will work, then you could trick yourself into believing it actually did.

I'm interested, but the anemone cannot be freeze-dried, as this process destroys enzymes that help with digestion. First, I need to have a monopoly on the sea anemone industry.

You can just stop replying to this thread and ignore it. I won't spam replies to you in order to get your opinion on this.

I don't think you understand, I'm saying that the reason people are being short with you is because you're just going around in circles with all this shot in the dark postulation. You keep arguing with everyone but you won't even try it yourself, it's quite frustrating.

One aspect of traditional medicine...

A lot of traditional medicine is based on really faulty ideas, especially chinese with their pursuit of various parts of highly endangered animals like some sort of substitute to viagra.

I'm not saying homeopathic has no value (I'm going overboard on supplements and teas out of desperation at the moment) but don't trust it just because you found a website that gives some explanation why this or that should produce this or that effect.

To come into this forum and try to convince everyone else that you've stumbled on some miracle cure on that basis just broadcasts that you are very gullible.

I just looked them up. That shit Is not going in raw. What about putting them in a food processor?
That should be fine. As long is it is not heated or frozen, the proteins will not be denatured and the enzymes will still be there.

When meat ages, it's really just the enzymes predigesting it.

All I am doing is providing some reasoning for why I think it will work. If you are willing to buy a bunch of supplements and teas, why not try this? Most supplements or teas that promise improvements in tinnitus do not have an explanation for why it should work, with a few exceptions. Ginkgo biloba can improve bloodflow, which could have a noticeable effect on tinnitus. The majority of them use it as a marketing tactic to increase sales.

There isn't really a sea anemone industry, and I cannot find a single website about the health benefits of eating sea anemone. All that comes up are websites for buying sea anemone to put in an aquarium. It is not a miracle cure. Nobody is even promoting it for a single health benefit. I would be more skeptical of this if I found any articles about the health benefits of eating them, but I can't find any.

There's also no website for buying them specifically for the purpose of consumption. The explanation that I gave for why it should work is not coming from a website. If it did, I would have linked to it in the original post.

It seems more like a discussion than an argument. What's the point of replying if we can't use it to criticize or explain our reasoning? I'm glad a lot of people do not agree with me. I can explain why I think it will work, while they explain why they think it will not.

I am completely willing to try it myself. I have said this many times already. I plan on doing it, I just don't know when. They cost a fortune, whether you order them online or go to a beach and collect them yourself.

Does this look affordable to you?
Long tentacle sea anemone:
$27.99 Small: 1"- 2"
$35.99 Medium: 2"- 3"
$49.99 Large: 3"- 5"

This is the cheapest one on this site: https://vividaquariums.com/collections/anemones

There was another website that had 2"- 3" anemones for around $20. It's still expensive.

Save your money or donate it to legitimate research.

Proteins are macromolecules made of long chains of amino acids.

They are not absorbed from the digestive system intact, instead they are broken down in the stomach and small intestine into amino acids. The breakdown process begins in the stomach by an enzyme called pepsin and continues in the small intestine by an enzyme called trypsin. The amino acids are absorbed into the bloodstream from the small intestine.

The body then uses the amino acids to build the proteins it needs. Obviously, the human body does not have the machinery to make the protein that replaces hair cells of a anemone.

The proteins that sea anemones secrete are designed for repairing damaged hair cells. It's been shown in the study that when the cochleas of mice are put in a solution of this protein, their damaged hair cells are able to repair themselves.

These repair proteins are different than normal proteins. They are only secreted when their tentacles get damaged.

Now that you've mentioned how our bodies process proteins, I do not know if eating the hair cells on their tentacles will work. I think just consuming the secreted proteins will be enough, but it would be best to eat both the hair cells on their tentacles and the secreted proteins.

There you go. Not everything can be solved through diet alone. If that were the case nobody would ever need a shot, for instance. Method of delivery matters. Do you want to buy a syringe and start shooting stuff into your inner ear with unknown consequences? Leave the advanced stuff to the medical industry.

If you're sure, then take a trip to California, check out the tide pools and plop one of those bad boys in your mouth. Then make your millions.
