I am very sad to announce that Paul (@PaulBe) has lost his battle with cancer 3rd January, 2022.

He is survived by a loving partner and extended family, who supported Paul through his journey with his illness.

Paul was a long term member here, who would often write supportive and sensitive posts to people in distress. He extended this kindness to me during our friendship. He was a very intelligent, articulate, and compassionate human being.

I will be forever grateful for his gentle, supportive presence here. He will be sorely missed by all who were fortunate to know him...

RIP Paul...

I'm so sorry to read this, Paul was really kind, compassionate and intelligent as you say. I remember his beautiful car avatar. I will miss him. He was a reassuring presence despite his suffering.

I am very sorry to hear about Paul (@PaulBe) passing @DebInAustralia. I had many conversations with him and always regarded him as a true gentleman. He understood how tinnitus can affect a person's mental and emotional wellbeing, something I frequently mention in my posts.

It was during one of our conversations back in 2017 about TRT, something he said prompted me to write the post TRT, As I See It, which is on my started threads.

The way I was explaining to him what happened during my TRT sessions with my Hearing Therapist, Paul remarked: "It sounds like grief counselling". At that moments a switch suddenly turned on in my mind and thought, that's exactly what it's like. I thanked him for it and as you'll see, I mentioned his name in the post which I felt was the right thing to do.

Take care,
Michael

Always sad to see a Tinnitus Talk member pass. My condolences to his family. RIP Paul.

This is extremely sad news. @PaulBe was a great member, and it was always a privilege to talk to him. He had a lot to deal with but was always really brave and resilient with all that he faced.

RIP, buddy.
