Is a Sonogram Safe for Someone Whose Tinnitus Was Caused by an Acoustic Trauma?

Hi all,

I need to have a sonogram for female reasons. Would a sonogram be safe for someone with an acoustic trauma?

I am still in the acute phase and wear earplugs in public where I might encounter an unexpected sound.
