Is it a good sign if my tinnitus is becoming quieter in the mornings? I'm talking ten minutes of barely being able to hear it in a 35 dB room?

It never used to be this way...

I'd say so! I've also noticed that I have more silent mornings than usually but as the day goes by, so does the volume get louder.

It's definitely and improvement!

I'm hoping it is. It's a change in the right direction so it must be a good thing!?

Ears have felt full this week for the first time in a while. Hoping this is just part of the recovery. A lot of people have said it's not linear.

Recently I've had very much variation in the volume. I have no idea why... Loud day. Quiet day. Loud day... and so on.

But be happy!

That's a good sign that it's not constant!

If the ear fullness and spasms go away I think I can get on with life!

Of course that's a good sign, it's actually a great sign... yahoooooo.

Super stoked for you. Ten minutes will go to twenty and on and on. A great sign.
Feeling jealous, but super happy for you. Protect your ears.

Cheers mate. Going to definitely protect my ears and fingers a crossed it continues

Hope your doing alright

Take it as a positive sign of future improvement! I too experience the same thing, (Tinnitus being much quieter when I wake up in the morning.) Sometimes I just lie there for awhile reveling in the moment, knowing that as soon as I get up and begin making/hearing the normal morning sounds my Tinnitus will begin to ramp up. My T is greatly affected by sound waves entering my one good ear and doing something like just running the sink water in the morning will set it off. (Major hyperacusis)

The "fullness" on the right side of my head (my deaf ear) has also begun to get much less noticeable, although it still is a bit up and down. But definitely an improvement of where it was when this whole thing began 5 months ago.

There are now more and more environments where I used to need an ear plug in my good ear where I now can tolerate going without. Hopefully I will add to that. I still cannot tolerate being inside a noisy cafe type environment without putting an ear plug in my good ear. At least we are headed in the right direction. It's such a relief sometimes to have that feeling that "yes, I can live with this".
