Yesterday I had a low tinnitus day. Almost did not hear it. Could sit in silent but still no tinnitus.
Today a lot of stress, my body was very tense, everything hurts and the tinnitus is loud and sharp.

Will it go down again?

In this game there are no guarantees but most likely it will go down.

Hi Sandra,
Stress is a big factor for tinnitus and tinnitus causes stress .
It should settle down again to a base sound that is normal for you over a day or so or after a troublesome time .

Try lying down with shoes off.
One hand on your chest and one on your stomach.
Breath in slowly to the count of three making your stomach rise and blow out slowly to the count of three and do it a few times .
This will put you in a relaxed state at stressful times .
Spikes can come from stress ,colds and virus, loud sounds, cold wind,TMJ,middle ear conditions, allergies, even a daytime sleep ,sinus problems to list a few and spikes usually do calm down over time unless you put your ears in danger of loud sound .
Try not to worry and stay calm and don't try listen to it and a few nice treats will help being kind to yourself .Hope this information helps you ...lol glynis

My T fluctuates day to day but always returns to baseline. Most important variables for me are sleep, stress and salt intake.
