In all honesty, fighting tinnitus is not a good thing. It's all about accepting and living our life. My tinnitus always feels loud and like i have a new spike each day. My motto in life - IT IS- WHAT IT IS. I have loud tea kettle HELL tinnitus in both ears 24-7. It's a challenge yes, but it doesn't stop me from living.
Coping and adjusting is how i have managed to live with this beast, it takes lots of heart and courage, but it can be done..
I'm so sorry, you are so strong! I've been handelif for 7 years but just recently lost hope. My left ears is allies burnig/irritated so I can litterlay feel t. Can you to?

I can relate to everything you have said. I have been to Ear Drs a lot in my life. I truly hope things get better for you.
Never give up fighting. Giving up is when you lose. Are you willing to go to clinical trials? Are you willing to try signal timing when it comes out? Please never give up, we here at tinnitustalk believe in you

Sorry to hear your having a hard time with your tinnitus and totally understand how you feel as I have had it well over 12-14 years and my ears are blasting as I reply .
Life can be hard as we have no control over tinnitus so I try hard to push myself to enjoy what I can.
You will get through this big wobble in your life and over time you will get some good times too and the emotional side of tinnitus won't seem so bad.

I can feel my T too. Do you have hyperacusis as well? The burning sounds more like hyperacusis.

Jantine....I also know just how you feel. My tinnitus suddenly worsened with possible sinus problems about 6 weeks ago. Having T-tubes I don't have pressure build up, but left ear feels full of something......BIG.
Should you give up? No, No, No, and No. Give in?....sort of.... but only in so much as to say 'OK. it's louder...so what?'
It's NEVER going to hurt you unless you let it. Two fingers to the little beggar and just get on with your life.....it thrives on anxiety. Once you accept it, it has to accept you, and though it may be loud, it will never be proud.
Surrender to a coward? Just no!

I get them all. Fullness, burning feelings in limbs...the whole package. Between my allergies/Fibro/acid reflux, tinnitus/psoriasis to name a few, it's always a new adventure for me. It does last for a bit, but the next day is a new day and I never take that for granted
