I have experience symptom of T for about 11 months now. At first I was a wreck but soon I forgot about it and can only hear it at night. Things were alright until Thursday when my T exploded and got louder. At first I thought it will go away and return back to normal but it hasnt. Is this spike permanently or will it go down. Anyways you think T can go away after having it for 11 months and I'm 16 year old male. I don't want to live with this for life

Tinnitus can spike but from what you describe I'm thinking that it could be something else that's caused the increase in your tinnitus. Do you Listen to music through headphones or go to music venues where music is played loud? When tinnitus goes away or reduces it's easy to forget and think everything is normal. It isn't always. You need to be careful and protect your hearing.

Yes I listen to music but not loud. I been careful with my hearing but it spiked on Thursday I'm really getting into a depressed mood again.
Do you listen to music through headphones? If you do then I advise that you don't even at low volumes. Some people do not agree with what I'm saying. However, remember, it is you that is experiencing the discomfort. Something has caused the sudden increase in your tinnitus and I do not believe it's caused by a spike. I know we are all different, but when a person experiences intrusive tinnitus no matter how brief, they need to be more careful of being around loud noise/music etc. What might not seem loud to you may be loud to your auditory system because the ears are more sensitive.. It is just a suggestion that I'm making. You are young and the best advice that I can give you is to be careful. If the tinnitus doesn't settle down then see your Dr and get referred to ENT.
