So this week.... my tinnitus has fluctuate A LOT.
last night i went to sleep earlier, (this has helped me before)
then my dog woke me up, and my t was SUPER high pitched D: (like never before) so piercing
it took me a few times to sleep, when i finally got to sleep....
i woke up again, this time i had no tinnitus at all D: total silence..
then slept for a few hours and i woke up with a "hissing storm"
but it feels like it is more in my head... it was scary, its like an electrical war, or light sabers in my head mostly.
it not so loud, its more "movement" than volume... right now, but the sound is different than the past days.
i dont get it, and it scares me to be honest.

I blame the dog. :cautious:

Don't be frightened. It's not unusual for tinnitus to change drastically following sleep, especially sleep of a short duration. I can't take a nap anymore because my tinnitus goes off the charts. Even if I nod off for two seconds, it spikes.

Keep doing what you're doing and getting as much uninterrupted sleep as possible. When you wake up and it's super loud or light sabers (I've had that!), take deep breaths and remember that it's been this way before and it got better, and it will get better again. Tinnitus is definitely a one-day-at-a-time affliction.

My ears are being extra naughty monkeys at the moment.
Just when I didn't think they could get any louder.
Having to sleep with sound on again as they are blasting.
Think it's allergy related so starting on 180mg fexofenadine see if it helps as nose playing up too....lots of love glynis
