It's Just One of Those Days....

...when I have a hard time figuring out how to make it through another minute...let alone another day of my ears ringing the way they do. I F*****G HATE IT! God please take me now!!!!

Mask your T, take a hot shower, call a friend, talk with someone, play a video game.
T wants your attention, but do what you would have normally done.
It is damn hard, but do it.
Kevin, what you think, crosses my mind every day.

You have T since 2001. At any point have you habituated?
The reason I ask is I'm in a relapse, had several over the years, Yes it is loud but I always habituate. It takes many months but I get back. That is why I ask have you habituated?

Yep, had/have those days My T was f$&/in' maniacal yesterday, then had dinner at the hot new local place that was louder than a jet engine. HOW MUCH FUN IS IT TO HAVE DINNER WITH PEOPLE WHEN YOU CAN'T TALK TO THEM?????? I almost left but put in 25 db plugs and nodded a lot.

Today? Tinnitus much kinder, got some errands done, walked my shelter dog. And so it goes for all of us, tinnitus or not, until the end of our days.

I'm still figuring out how to accept it on bad days. They say that's the first key step. Fighting it makes it worse.

Hard to accept, but I am working on it, and the more I accept what I can't change, the more I can move in with my life.
