Hi, I have lived with tinnitus for the past 22 years, probably caused by surgery for a benign brain tumour.
I woke in the middle of the night at home after surgery and thought the radio had been left on.
T is worse some days than others, right now it has gotten worse over the last few days.
I'm not sure why.
Hi
@Joan T , and welcome. I am sorry to learn of your tinnitus, but you have come to the right place.
As
@fishbone stated, this is a wonderful forum. It is filled with kind, sympathetic, caring people who are always willing to help, provide comfort, and support.
Tinnitus is difficult. Everyone experiences it differently. And, sadly, the symptoms can get worse, suddenly (that is what brought me to this forum initially). What I can say though is there is hope. If you have not yet, read through the success stories. Many of our community have had their symptoms clear up, or have learned to habituate (learn to ignore) them.
It will get better. And, as said before, you are in the right place.
I wish you well and hope you find what you need here.
Please keep us updated on your progress.
