Hi. I've had loud tinnitus in my left ear for a few years now.
Since being a teenager (39 now)
I've had ear syringing every now and then. I simply get too much wax.
Since tinnitus began, I've been lucky in the fact that my left ear hasn't had to be syringed.
Anyway last weekend it got so muffled I needed to get it done. I put drops in it for about a week, then yesterday got it syringed at the doctor's.
What's the point in my post? Just to say it was fine. No increase in tinnitus. I just feel that some times people only put horror stories online, that it gives a skewed sense of danger.
My ear needed syringing, I got it syringed, I can now hear, and it went perfectly!
