Well I've started to loose more low and high frequency hearing again and it hasn't been explained by much. The losses are both sudden and gradual, and they are freaking me out

I have been on 1 mg klonopin per day since late May to control panic attacks.
I have been on 10 mg of cyclobenzaprine since about 1.5 weeks ago

I know klonopin, as a benzo, can do some whack things. 2 neuro-otologists I have communicated with say that the clonopin is not ototoxic at the doses I am taking it...however, one of those docs was the one who poisoned me on the topomax so I don't trust his judgment. I don't really trust any doctor anymore when it comes to meds, honestly.

Cyclobenzaprine could also be a culprit but I just don't know. From what I know it is the least likely of the two to do lasting damage.

Any thoughts?

Urgh! I was offered Topomax for migraines two weeks ago but refused to take it because it's also know in the medical world as 'Dopomax', as it can cause permanent, cognitive dysfunction!

The stuff is like poison. Why were you given it? Did it cause your T?

Steph

I haven't had any problems with clonazepam, and I've been taking 0.5 to 1mg regularly for 4 months. It mildly dampens the T for about 3 hours. Especially noticable if taken sublingually.

From what I understand, if a benzo worsens your T it's usually related to the effects of withdrawl on your gaba levels. Not otoxicity.
