Likelihood of Noise-Induced Tinnitus Going Away?

@sven1987 how are your tinnitus now?? I have also noise induced tinnitus from a night club, and now im 3 months in. i have the same symptoms as you its for the most a really loud hissing sound, that i can hear everywhere, but sometimes it goes high pitch, very bothersome because i find it hard to do things like watch TV, reading, conversations,. Did your tinnitus countined to change for the better???

Hi lillejulie, I'm now 9 months into my tinnitus and I'm still noticing improvements. Sometimes I can go out into my backyard in the morning and only just barely hear my tinnitus. I live in a rural area, so there's very little environmental noise and it feels really good. My tinnitus builds up during the day, but even in the evening it's not as loud as it used to be like 3 or 4 months ago.
Have you noticed any improvement since you got your tinnitus?

I have very little improvment :( But it is better than for 3 months ago

How did you get T? And was your tone a constant high pitch?
Got it with a malfunctioning synthesiser where the right ear wasn't at the level it was suppose to be on. One loud ultrasonic blast and the T appeared. It was a constant loud higher pitch sound but now a static when close to a air conditioner/engine.

I attended a Def Leppard concert in March 2016. In May, I began noticing my Tinnitus. I don't know if the concert caused it, but it's possible. My tinnitus was rather severe throughout the summer and into the fall. Now, however, it has completely gone except for an occasional soft click which I will hear if I'm listening for it. So yes, it is quite possible that yours might go away after enough time passes.
How is your tinnitus now :)?

Does the recovery of Tinnitus depend on what caused it in the first place ie noise induced, cleaning wax etc ? If its non noise induced does further noise disturbances likely to cause more damage compared to someone who got their Tinnitus through cleaning ear wax ?

This thread is making me feel better. I'm at 5 months and now and really no better unless I'm on high doses of supplements.

Supposedly noise induced T has the worst prognosis, but that doesn't mean it won't get more quiet as the years go by.
