Cause of Tinnitus
Using Headphones at really high volume
I was listening to loud music on headphones, and it caused my tinnitus to flare up. I feel like such an idiot for doing this to myself again. My loud neighbors played a part in it, but it's still all my fault. I should have remembered what I learned years ago when I was on this forum.

It really stinks to be back in the same place I was before. Back then, I ended up being hospitalized, but I'm determined not to let that happen again. I just feel so stupid right now, but I swear I'm never using headphones again.

Be kind to yourself. Flare ups will happen and no doubt the tinnitus will settle down again in time. Consider using a volume control setting to limit the max volume on your device.

Sorry to hear of this. We've all done stupid things and worsened our tinnitus. It's part of the painful journey.

If I may ask, what part did the neighbours play?
