Lower Tinnitus Volume in My Left Ear After an Acoustic Trauma/Shock?

Hi everyone!

I was just wondering if anyone here experienced a decrease in volume in one of their ears following an acoustic trauma/shock?

The reason I ask is because ever since my trauma, there is a reduction of volume in my left ear along with some fullness. When I swallow I can really hear/feel a lump sensation in my ear/back of my throat.

I was told that the reduction is normal (I don't have any hearing loss), my ears are just in shock (comparing it to after a concert when you can't hear that well), and that it should subside or get better in the next few months.

Anyone here that had that problem and if so, did it ever get better for you?
