Marine Phytoplankton and Hair Cell Regeneration

I have recently read that Marine Phytoplankton has helped few people regain their hearing to 100%.

I am wondering what the thoughts of well knowledgeable people on this forum are and whether it can regenerate nerve cells, such as hair cells in the ear. Check out this article, and especially read the part about Healthy cell membranes and Regeneration.

Wellnessmama.com is a very controversial source, I think this belongs in #alternative-research
as long as this treatment is not intentionally deceiving or harmful, it wouldn't hurt for people to try but I am very skeptical and doubt this will regenerate cochlear hair cells.

Please be aware of scams on the Internet, and understand how the scientific method works.

Well it's not like I'm naive and believing everything that I read on the net, but I've genuinely been reading from more than 1 source on the properties of it. And everywhere I've read it, it states that it has the capability to regenerate most of the cells in the body. As for the taste, I really don't care, better that getting injections in your head anyway...

Well, the difference is, that with marine phytoplankton you are directly drinking ALIVE CELLS, which have all the necessary tools to repair existing cells and induce regeneration in other cells, it's not some magic mushroom or something. I was just wondering whether that also implies to nerve cells that we need to fix them in order to regain hearing. Check out the fifth property of it on the below link, it specifies the way it has the ability to repair cells.

I think that you're forgetting about stomach acid... once these "live cells" hit some acid, I doubt they'll be alive much longer.

And then, in order to get to the ears, whatever is in phytoplankton that is supposed to heal your hearing would have get passed the blood-brain barrier.

Well, I'm not an expert and have no idea how would those cells reach our ears, just thought that this might help as it has all the building blocks that require to rebuild and create new cells. JohnAdams, your thoughts on this?

I doubt it. Try it out and return it if it doesn't work. The thing is that the article you posted doesn't say anything about "cochlear hair cell regeneration" Yes there are many cells in the body that regenerate with or without Marine Phytoplankton, but there is no treatment for regenerating cochlear hair cells.
