Tinnitus Since
05/2017 (H since 06/2017)
Cause of Tinnitus
long term noise exposure (headphones), maybe some stress.
Since the onset of my tinnitus I have been getting increasingly worse neck pains.....right now it feels stiff and sore both in the back of the neck and the sides.

I should sleep good at night. I have a good pillow which is supposed to support the neck well. I suppose the pain may be from tension in the body due to distress of the tinnitus.

Anyone else troubled with neck pains? What can be done? regularly neck massages.....anything else?

I think it may be the stress on the body....
I do regular massages and a heating pad
I also think I sleep terribly lol. I need a new pillow...

I think you are right.
I will look into getting some massage and a heating pad is a good idea, thanks ;)
Why do you think you sleep terrible? Do you wake up or...? I am wondering if maybe im straining in the neck when i sleep, because of the stress of the T.

@TheDanishGirl I wake up in the middle of the night and I wake up with my neck feeling strained! I also work sitting at a desk for 8 hours and I look down at my phone alot lol.

Oh, im sorry to hear you wake up at night, hope that soon changes for you :)
I know what you mean ;) Before i got unemployed i worked a desk/office job too, and it is hard on the body to sit on a chair 8 hours a day. remember to have a good posture and get up and move around every once in a while.....it helped me and i hope it will help you to.

Had massage today, felt good but does not seem to have a lasting effect on my neck pains :( my neck still feels stiff and like one big sore muscle.

Like dealing with T wasnt enough, now i also have to deal with pains in the body :(
