@Jazzer,
Thank you for your lovely words, it's so nice to hear it.
I won't be going to the next Tinnitus Expo in London, so if you go my thoughts will be with you all...
Big hugs, lot's of love,
Glynis xxx
Glynis, you're amazing... has to be said.

You are a super human. You are tough as nails and full of love.
You inspire me to be better, to refine myself, to elevate myself.
I just want you to know you're a star...

PS. You got some cute cats too.

@glynis - they are beautiful glynis.
I have never been able to resist the charm of pussycats. I love every one.
Hope you are doing okay babe,
I don't see you on here very often these days,
but I know you are a very busy lady.
I think of you often,
you great big 'hugger' you.

@Jazzer,
I have stepped down from moderating as I have lots going on in my life as well as a divorce.
Love my new job caring for people with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Schizophrenia, Huntington's and brain injuries.
I can now just be my happy self supporting others instead of moderating and think more approachable from members without my mod hat on.

Hugs back to you:huganimation:

It's high time I mentioned my dear pussycat therapists once again.
When Tinnitus bit me with great severity five years ago I honestly thought I might have to lose my life.
I could not see any possible way to cope.
Well, as you see - I am still here.
It has been anything but easy.
As you know - I was the first call trombonist for five different bands.
I had to lose my passion for jazz - my career.

In order to help me commit myself to making a new life, I picked up each of my beautiful cats in turn, and promised:
"Sweetheart - I love you so much.
I will always be here to look after you.
I will never leave you - I promise.
I will never let you down."

@Jazzer I used to love cars but have become really allergic but I'd love one now for me and the family...so sad I can't get a pet for us all. Allergic to dogs too but depends on dog and also worried about the barking.

I know a person who owns a cat and takes pills to control his cat allergy. I remember reading that some people who are allergic to cats don't have any problems being around sphinx cats.

Eerr don't want to give my kids nightmares :)
Pills for life worry me a bit...why is everything so complicated? Oh well I'll figure something out...

Such a shame for you Candy.
This is not the first time that pussycats have saved my life.
When I was a terribly sad little boy with a sick mum I had a beautiful tabby cat called Timmy.
I was schizoid and isolated - my pussycat was the only 'person' I could cry to - I cried into his fur and told him everything.
He understood me .
He lived until I was twenty.
I love him to this day of course.

A sad lonely noisy day today,
I am laying on my couch and
this big gentle sweetheart just
came in to lay next to me.
I love you Percy xxx

Is the bottom cat a Turkey neck breed?
No J1MT - Percy and TimTom are both British Shorthairs, and tiny little Annie is a blue Persian.
The boys weigh about 7 kilos each, and Annie is just over 2 kilos.
However she was here first and is pretty much the boss if there is a dispute.
She is a woman - of course !!

Recent pictures of my three beautiful pussycat therapists.
On a bad day I just whisper to them that
'Daddy is a bit noisy today sweetheart.'
They start to purr for me - and I eventually realise that life is not quite so bad - after all.

Annie is a nine year old Persian and is tiny.
Just 2 kilos.
She developed ulcers in both eyes a year ago.
We were putting drops in her eyes nine times a day.
She lost one eye, but we managed to save the other.
She is still beautiful.
