Interesting story behind that photo. A neighbor took it and was eager to show it to us referring to him as her cat. She said that they've been feeding him for months thinking he must be a stray. She was taken aback when I said to her, "You realize you've been feeding Tommy, he's our cat!" Long story short, we still laugh about it.

My sister has a chantilly cat and she is gorgeous. She's also extremely affectionate, which I believe is a trait of this breed. My Dad is in the hospital again, so she sleeps on his pillow at night and during the day she sits in his chair. She does not do this when he is at home.

I looked up this breed, and I was shocked to discover that the cat I have had in my 20s (that I thought was a mongrel) might have been a Chantilly cat.

Molly had to go to the emergency vet throwing up possibly blood & then my vet for upper tract infection. I have Pets Plus Us insurance. They paid back their portions no hassles!! She is ok now!
