Hi guys,

I just discovered that when I move my lower jaw forward/ Backward the ringing increases or change in tone.

Any ideas what would be the cause?

Thanks

Further, when I move it forward. The ringing stops for like a fraction of a second and comes again. Like switching it on/off.

Who should consult? My ent doc?

I have the same thing. Also if I push on my chin, chew, swallow and yawn.

I heard, there's a thing called the ganglia box, located around the ear and jaw junction, where lots of nerves collect. Could be the issue?

Instead of an ENT, see a TMJ specialists or a Neurologist.

Could be yes I just started treating them but one of the things he gave me to sleep has definitely help my t a little granted I gotta wear the thing for 12'weeks. Also sleeping on my opposite t side makes me wake up with my t lower for some rreason

This is one of the things he made me, It's adjusted every week,as you can see , my jaw / teeth should be on a u shape they are on a v shape not to mention other things, prior to my t I was grinding and clenching really hard at night while I slept.

Ah crap forgot to include the file

Nice man. Thanks for the info. Will see

The TMJ conumdrum,I have yet to see anyone on any forum say TMJ treatment helped their T which can cost thousands if they really are TMJ specialists ie braces which need constant adjustment ,many bite plates as things adjust etc ,over 2 years treating

I have had TMJ problems 34 years and my jaw cracks and crunches so bad and waiting for my third time see a Maxillofacial specialist ....the only time my jaw is ok is with my jaw guard in so might need a day guard too..does nothing for my tinnitus but that's due to Menieres....lots of love glynis

Hello, I have been having the same problem with you. When I move my lower jaw ringing stops. Did you go to TMJ? Or find anything? Please advise. Thank you.
