Music (loud noise)
Well hello there.

So I got my T when i was 16. I'm 18 soon and my T is very much worse thanks :3.

I cannot stand to live without music, even a day without it. I need to hear it.
People tell me all the damn time "just stop listening". It's not that damn easy.
Try to tell a guy with schizophrenia to stop hallucinating...

Yeah I see the difference, I can stop with music but he can't stop hallucinating.

However I find it very hard to do. And I get very paranoid very quickly.

And when that happens I almost get the sense of only being able to hear my T, which doesn't help anything..

(I have OCD and high functioning Aspd). They contradict each other, however
both of them help with my paranoia (malevolent Aspd type).

My therapist cannot do shit.

I cannot count on someone online helping with this. It's like screaming into the dark..

However it's still worth a shot. Helpiz mme, danke.

Hello @MrLowBot,

Nice to see another Swede on the forum!

Do you listen to loud music through headphones? Personally I'm taking a break from headphones.... Haven't used them since onset. I do enjoy music at home, playing from high quality speakers.

@Capricornus
Nice to see that i'm not alone.
Ehh yeah.. about that i can't.. lol. I can't stay
true to anyone, i lie pathologically. Same goes
for my mind, even if i tricked myself into
it. Just would not work, but yea good advice.
Imma set ur name with all the other people
that have told the same thing hahaha.

Everyone have to decided for themselves what they want to do with their life. Music is a great healer, I can't argue on that. My life used to revolve around loud music, festivals and parties - I'm not giving that up, but right now I'm on a break: giving my ears some time to heal. I know that I will be able to pick up those activities in the future, with proper ear protection of course.

If the T is bothering you (you mentioned that it has become worse), maybe you should consider to turn the volume down? You can still enjoy music!
