Cause of Tinnitus
Excessive loud noise
After over a year with cycling T and meeting dead end after dead end, I decided to give another ENT a shot to get yet another opinion.
I had another audiogram. It showed that I have moderate to severe inner ear damage on my left side which I knew already because the one I had a few months ago revealed that. It also revealed that my right cochlea was normal....well today's results read different. I apparently have some damage on my right side now which really worries me. I have almost no T in my right ear. It's not bothersome at all and the volume is extremely low. I have to put my finger in my ear to hear it and it even disappears sometimes.
Whats really got me bummed out is I have bad inflammation in both ears and a dysfunctional ear drum in the right. I asked the doc if surgery could fix it and he said no. Ugh so depressing.
I had tubes put in last January and it seemed to fix the problems for like a day. My T even disappeared completely a couple hours after surgery. Then the tubes eventually fell down and everything went to hell again.

By the way he was another ENT who was just in a rush to the next patient. Don't know why im writing this. I just feel like shit. I hate this condition. I hate that no one seems to care about it. I did get some footage for my film im gonna make about T and H tho. lol

@Dubbyaman dam that sucks man.I hate it when docs just rush the appointment. I ran into the same type of crap like that with my ENT last month.

You are making a film about T?. Interesting. It would be cool if a bunch of us members here could somehow send you a few second video clip saying our name and stating "I have T". Some type of awareness to add to your film. Sorry, just throwing that idea out there

Do some research on Wobenzyme N. It could probably help with the inflammation.

My primary reason for not seeing an ENT is no funds. Secondary reason is there are so many negative or disappointing experiences mentioned on this forum relating to ENTs and their either lack of awareness or inability to do anything about tinnitus. I didn't feel like betting money on a lame horse.

Have you made documentaries before? There are talented folks on this forum who would probably be happy to participate by either offering assistance or sharing expertise to fine tune your film.

There is already a short video from TT members about their tinnitus, including simulations of the sounds. Turn down the volume if you have reactive tinnitus.

Yeah that would be cool. Thats why I announced it on here so I could get some help from you folks. Still at the planning stage tho.
