Cause of Tinnitus
Acoustic trauma
I have a clogged and swollen feeling in my ears most of the time, especially when waking up.

My left ear is the worst. It also makes valsalva by itself multiple times a day when I belch or something. My right ear recently developed a low humming sound, which is really annoying too.

I'm worried that this will increase my tinnitus and destroy things further in my ears.

Anyone else with this problem?

Have the exact same problem. Whenever I burp, air sometimes forces itself into my left eardrum, it's driving me insane since I don't know if it's damaging my hearing. The only help I can offer is to eat smaller meals, take Ranitidine before eating to prevent gas, and never eat before sleeping.

I remember I wrote on your post about this a while ago. I feel that my middle/inner ear is swollen and feel full. There is a tight feeling. Do you also experience this?

I had this and it comes and goes, it's terrible.

For how long did you have this problem?
It really depends. One time I had a "tight squeeze" feeling for about 5 days. Once it went away I was left with decreased sound but I am associating it with ETD as I'm sure air gets stuck.

Sorry, I've been busy so I've missed your post. Yes, I have a full feeling in my right ear, I don't have a tight feeling though.
