I wonder if the high pitch sizzling sounds that we are both experiencing are congruent with lost frequencies or they are like static riding on top of other lost frequencies. What do you think?

Tbh i have no idea, but i find it strange why this returned (i already had this sometimes since onset) while my other sound has gotten so much better. The sizzling is basically the only thing that bothers me now. Maybe it has to do something with muscular problems from the whiplash. I´ll try now different stretching and relaxation excercises.

Interesting.

I dont know. Woke up this morning and my tinnitus seemed almost as bad as ever. So strange. I've had silence.

It is a good sign that it is changing instead of staying the same. Something must be going on whether it be healing or the curcumin.

I'm thinking high doses of curcumin have other positive effects on tinnitus, stress, and mood. It's still too early to tell whether or not its doing what I want it to do

Because the key in all of this is an increase in expression of a gene called atoh1 and even though curcumin does all that other stuff, it down regulates atoh1.
Sorry the dead end to your experiment, though it wasn't a failure. Your research of curcumin and cilia regrowth reached a conclusion. Thanks

So will you be continuing your experiment?
No. It's over. Being yellow was fun but Im now looking into another notch1 inhibitor, xanthahumol, as well as other potential methods to temporarily enhance expression of atoh1. I am far from giving up. Then theres always frequency therapeutics.

so it turns out it wanst an ovemp but a cvemp and it was 90db nhl

It certainly does seem like curcumin does temporarily quiet tinnitus. It doesnt look like it is a cure, but damn if it doesnt help. As long as I'm not trying something else, I'm going to keep taking it, in much of lower doses of course.

So there's that.

Hair cell regeneration, synapse and nerve repair, these things are almost definitely going to happen barring the unlikely major imminent crash of the global capitalist ecosystem. The only question is will it be sooner or later.
All the difference for us, of course.

I had the exact same thought.

I'm not giving up either. I'm still not convinced that the power to do this isn't within our grasp. I certainly don't think only big pharma is going to be capable of this.

With people my age constantly going to the loudest fucking discos+listening to the loudest music you would expect more people to have tinnitus. I guess I am just destinied to have a life that has only suffering

If anyone is interested to join the MPP research team please join. Multiple heads are better than one.

All this science is very new. We could really kick big pharma in the balls.

One thing I'm trying to figure out is how to cause over expression of atoh1.

I did already try a guestimate dose of carrageenan, 1 heaping tablespoon, and I felt like I was dying. My heart rate dropped to about 60 bpm and I felt dizzy. So this is probably not the path forward.

I can experiment with supplements if you give me the names and dosages.
Well right now I have nothing to suggest because curcumin it seems to start the process and then stop it at the same time. The only other path forward is wnt activation using the seaweed extract carrageenan and I think that stuff is really dangerous. I'm also willing to test myself. I did however experience other positive benefits while on curcumin. I'd recommend that surely not in the doses I was taking. Id be interested in your experience.

I am so fcking sick of this sh*t. All these club managers and bands that blast insanely loud music are literally ruining innocent, unsuspecting people's lives. I hope they a get severe, permanent, intrusive tinnitus themselves, and hearing loss that ruins music for them. Just like they did to me.
Am I angry and vindictive? Yup!!!
