Does anyone have clear info on whether FX could work on severe/profound HL? Cause I have severe/profound UHF loss and that's what causes my T.

The prospect of a cure is what has calmed me down ever since I was diagnosed with tinnitus. I have FAITH that hearing regeneration will become a reality in my lifetime and will alleviate tinnitus.

In the meantime, I do whatever I can to protect my ears.

Yeah I think so. He hasnt been online in a while so he probably did get in and had to sign an NDA.

I don't know how loud it is. Objectively not very loud. Maybe 15-20 DB?
It's broadband centered at around 14 khz but with all types of other sh*t mixed in. The frequency is what kills me. It's like chalkboard scraping on steroids, it's almost physically painful. I cannot stand it.
A few days many months ago I had lower frequency buzzing instead of this hell. It was so much easier to deal with.

Cos everyone asks it constantly. The reason I asked is because I fear we're dealing with similar 'soul sucking' T. The real desperate shit. Mine is same frequency and piercing sound, like a high pitch saw. I don't know about how loud mine is but it requires a lot of noise to cover it. I measured 90 decibels on a motorway bridge and I could still hear it.

Yup, same, I can hear it over most things save shower due to its pitch. I hope I don't lose my mind. On the other hand what could be worse than this.
