I'm in the prototype stages. I want to get to a professional, eye catching level. Enough to maybe make a difference. Like in my old graphic design, pre-tinnitus days.
Meme'ing is fun... it was my cope for my ongoing extreme depression... but now, in light of everything from the ATA's asinine comments, the demoralization of fellow user s here asking us to bend over and take it... the overall big tinnitus picture... I'm just very, very angry.
And I know I'm not the only one.
There is just a big machine in place that is not immutable. Fx322 really looks like our best hope.
How can you live daily with tinnitus and not be very very excited about this drug?
Why am I constantly being falsely accused and having my words twisted and misconstrued? I was just falsely accuses of threatening to punch someone in the face. What is going on here?
Just my perspective bro... it's just... it's the tinnitus. That's all it is. I bet none of it legitimately personal. Tinnitus really screws with a person. Some people aren't thinking straight.
So we have two big things to look forward to soon, MuteButton Q&A beginning of December and reportedly some type of Frequency TX update December/January.
I do wonder though if five years back TT members had similar things they were looking forward to, things that obviously didn't pan out at all...

I'm still salty after the lil stunt ata pulled. After like 50 years they still aren't very known even though apparently 1 in 6 people have it ?
The ATA might piss us off tremeandously, but to give them some credit, one of the things they have funded recently is involved in a potential cure:
"Using these mice, the lab has also found molecules that can be used to induce the regeneration of hair cells synapses after noise –exposure, leading to recover of hearing. The lab team is now harnessing these findings to find new strategies for treating hearing loss and vestibular disorders."

This Dr. Corfas published a paper in 2014 that explains the role of BDNF in synapse regeneration, and that's what OTO-413 for hidden hearing loss is using.
Here is another drug that needs an accelerated development schedule.
The length of time this all takes is completely ridiculous. They published that paper back in 2014. What in the world have they been up to?

A few hours to a few months. If you're having a bad spike, drink lots of water, eat healthy, and avoid loud sounds.

I'm pretty sure I'm coming out of one that was 5 months. T spiked in both ears where normally my right one is the shit one. I haven't felt this relaxed in a loooooong time.
