I've repeated my concerns over and over. I don't think I can make it any clearer to be honest.

I think you totally misinterpreted the Harold Shipman comment. That was a drastic way to prove a point that just because someone is a Dr doesn't mean you should trust every word they say - like they are the ultimate in trustworthiness or something.

Why would he shut down his clinics? That doesn't make much sense unless he moved city.

He sounds like a bullshitter if he told you he had some clinical trials. If he has already done some then where the hell are they? I mean it's not the kind of thing you tuck away in your bedside drawer is it. Why aren't they linked on his website and proudly displayed?

The facts are this:

• He has a worthless patent
• There's no mention of his name in any published papers
• He has had plenty of time to submit a manuscript to a peer-reviewed medical journal, but hasn't
• There is no supporting evidence of his claims anywhere. All the evidence is conveniently on his website where he has total control.
• He has some bizarrely worded paragraphs on his website dedicated to convincing people that his data is real. Who does that?
• He has shut down clinics (according to Artemis2k)
• Has said to Artemis2k that he has some clinical trial data, but there is nothing about his method anywhere
• PRP has been around since the 70's and is nothing new. There have been many opportunities for Drs, worldwide, to use this method on the inner ear. If it's such a breakthrough method, then again, where is all the supporting data?
• Does anyone even know for sure that he is a legitimate ENT Dr?

There are so many things to flag up that I don't know where to begin. Put it this way, if he is genuine then he is a fool for not releasing this method so others can replicate his results and prove beyond doubt his legitimacy. You seriously have to ask yourself why he hasn't done this? He has basically put a bunch of random audiograms on a website. What the fuck does that prove! If you want a bunch of before and after audiograms - showing promising results - I could upload some anytime I want. How easy is that? I have no one to answer to because none of them are verified. In one I noticed he didn't even know what date it was (I think the year was corrected) and at the sane time he didn't even know if it was a man or a woman that he treated. It's the strangest looking professional 'medical site' I've ever seen. Looks like a 10 year old made it.

I *think* he has told me he did clinical trials. Unfortunately I don't have access to the email I used because I shut it down after receiving annoying spam after accidentally joining a BS dating site.

He told me he shut down his clinics after receiving emotional trauma. Moved to a different part of Seoul to avoid being near certain people after he took a long break to self reflect. That is what he said anyway. I don't want to be specific because if he was telling the truth I would feel bad about talking about something so personal.

Unfortunately i have to admit that i didn't post that much in here,because i'm currently in a very bad state mentally i don't want to turn this fun uplifting treath depressing,but severe cochlear synaptopathy really cucked me right now my hearing is so bad the only time i can even function is in quiet 1 on 1 conversation if there is any background noise i struggle extremely.I lost all enjoyment,joy and love for life.Life seems like meaningless and empty struggle ever since i messed up my hearing.I can't enjoy music because it sounds muffled,i can't watch movies because my hearing is distorted and i miss half of the dialogue,i can't play games for the same reason because i was always into story focused dialogue heavy games and i can't hear dialogue now.So what's even the point to keep going if you can't get any enjoyment out of things you used to love?I lost my job,i lost my good looks since i have to be on really heavy anti psychotics and anti depressants and gained a ton of weight i went from completely mentally healthy to having schizotypal personality disorder all in the span of two years since i got this condition.

My family thinks i'm a failure that didn't achieve anything in his life and doesn't respect me anymore even though they don't even try to understand how bad my hearing is and how seriously i'm suffering because i pass the fucking standart outdated hearing test.And worst of all there is no cure or help ENT'S are useless if you have hidden hearing loss no matter how severe it is they treat standart tonal audiogram as the holy grain and don't care about any auditory synapse damage that it doesn't show.

I just have to say I WANT TO DIE I WANT TO DIE I WANT TO DIE,but i don't even have the balls to do that yet i held the knife next to my wrist the other day,but i couldn't bring myself to do it because,deep in my heart i care too much how much my family would suffer especially my mother i love them even though they act so cold towards me.
I just hope Regain(Audion) can get the treatment for hearing loss out in the next 5 years that is my only hope because they are EU funded and if they succeed their treatment will probably spreads to clinics across Europe and be goverment funded.I really cheer for Frequency therapeutics and Otonomy OTO-413 too,but unfortunately even if those succeed my broke ass probably wouldn't be able to afford it.So that's the sad truth about my life and why i am inactive,but to end it on a positive note i love you guys i love this forum and i hope all our struggling and suffering and pain will end and we will be able to enjoy second chance at life thanks to bio medicine,because we really deserve it.

I can't even find any history on the guy. There's no Minbo Shims working at any hospitals in South Korea that I can find, or any paper trail of him previously working in a hospital. The mans a ghost. By comparison, I did a check on 5 random people who work at an ENT department in a hospital called St Mary's in Seoul, and their backgrounds light up like a Christmas tree on google. There are citations and other relevant history.

Min Bo Shim on the other hand has a google presence that a CIA agent would be proud of.

I can only give you the informed opinions of others. It's not as though I inject this stuff professionally, but I have read a lot about it. Mainly 3 or so years ago when I was desperate for a cure and researched just about everything.

Perhaps asking the Heller Lab about him would be beneficial? After all, they have first-hand experience working with him, and could tell you if his St. Mary history was true. I think that if he visited one of the most respected hearing loss research places in the U.S., they probably did verify that he had certain history. After all, how did he end up there anyway?

That's literally the only thing I saw him mentioned in, but I found it odd that they named the hospital wrong and there's also no history of him working there. It's all really odd.

According to Minbos linkedin he still works at Sunny St Mary's clinic, so maybe it is real and wasn't a typo. However, I can't find it.

I know that St. Mary is a very famous clinic. I tried asking them about him but didn't get anywhere because of language barrier.

I doubt it otherwise everyone would be doing it. Once the hair cells are dead or the nerve is damaged it's considered permanent. The only hope is regenerative medicine such as FX-322 and CGF166, etc.

Do you not think Will McLean would have tried this first and/or various other methods if he thought it could restore hearing?

Are you referring to Sunny St Mary's Clinic or St Mary's Hospital.

I can only find St Mary's Hospital.

In my opinion, the guy is full of shit. How can he say he doesn't want to publish any data? Those were his words:

It's beyond insane.

Look at the dates on these audiograms. It looks like he realised that he had put the dates the wrong way round. He has also covered over the far side of the date like he is hiding another mistake of some kind.

Then we have all the salesman techniques telling people they can get two for one, and he holds discounts once a year. How can anyone possibly take this guy seriously? Nothing about him has any integrity.

My suspicion is that Cheong-Min Clinic is Sunny St Mary's Clinic but he changed the name. This would mean it's the only place he's worked since 2011 if he's telling the truth on LinkedIn.
