It is the other way around.
I am not sure what "It" you have in mind. For me, money provides the time during which I can be carefree. So it doesn't own me, and if I give it (carefree time) away (and go back to work), I won't gain anything.Agree, it's what you get until you got it.
Who is this?
The problem is that our society is Fucked UP. It is dying. It won't be long now.(In September 2015, Shkreli received widespread criticism when Turing obtained the manufacturing license for the antiparasitic drug Daraprim and raised its price by a factor of 56 (from US$13.5 to $750 per pill), leading him to be referred to by the media as "the most hated man in America" and "'Pharma Bro'".) -wiki

What the Do-Gooders had undoubtedly achieved is that now companies will be less willing to develop new drugs. In a sane society those do-gooders would have been "the most hated people," for this reason alone (although of course there are other reasons - the mind-numbing immorality of them questioning the right of a company to choose any price they wish to sell their product for, comes to mind). Another thing that the do-gooders had achieved is that now companies will never experiment with selling their product at a low price (seeing how it will be impossible to raise this price later on if they learn that the profit-maximizing price is higher). They will just keep the price high. Thank you do-gooders.
I love it how the company that actually developed the life-saving drug is painted as the villain, and the literal enemies of the people are painted as whistle blowers.
You are absolutely right - a monopolist would not be looking for a cure. However, if we have competition=capitalism, companies would be looking for the product preferred by the consumer. In this case, consumers prefer to be cured, so everyone ought to be looking for a cure (including the firm that has the monopoly on a lifetime management of T, as they won't want to lose everything once their competition finds a cure). There is more money to be made my treating an illness for a lifetime than there is by curing it once and for all.
Yes, this is what the young people here have taught me. All these so called "cures" are bogus. They don't cure anything yet produce profits from our pockets. You are absolutely right - a monopolist would not be looking for a cure. It sounds like you are confused and can't tell a difference between legitimate firms and scam artists.
If any of my words made you feel bad, I apologize. If that's the impression I gave I'm sorry. Maybe you're right, maybe I am confused.
No, you're fine.If any of my words made you feel bad, I apologize.
As long as they find out about it soon after the cure is officially released, it is fine, right? How come my Neurotologist, Otolaryngologist and Audiologist know nothing about current research for a cure.... I think I know why but can't adequately explain.
If a cure is released many of them will find out about it by having an obsolete profession or not having a job.As long as they find out about it soon after the cure is officially released, it is fine, right?
Also, a scam is something short lived, once a small number of people are fooled and reveal their experience to the others, the game is up.
Not Neurotologists and Otolaryngologists. My ENT clearly felt like I was wasting his time. So those people would be happy that we will no longer bug them. Audiologists might lose their jobs if hearing loss can get completely reversed in 100% of the cases. But I doubt that will happen any time soon. If there is a cure for T, audiologists will not be affected. If a cure is released many of them will find out about it by having an obsolete profession or not having a job.

But there are many people who say that TRT had helped them. In other words, if a cure is just a pipe dream, then the people who created TRT, are the only people who cared enough to help us. They would be doing something immoral if they were to promise silence and then not deliver. But they are very clear about what TRT is and isn't. They are clear that one will not hear silence as a result of TRT. The people get exactly what they expect from such a procedure. So if anyone is benefiting, it is the patients. There are many who profit from our desperation. Like those selling trt
So they think with their head, are rational, and care about their own well being. They don't want to be your personal bitch, nor are they willing to be your slave and do stuff for you for free. What's the problem again? They are driven by profits, not cures.
What concerns me is that the status quo of the industry has nothing to gain by a cure being discovered.

Accusing others of being greedy and demanding that they get going and work for your benefit is NOT going to motivate those people to do stuff for you.I'd like to see more demand for a cure and less people accepting that which is currently offered.

"It's not you, it's me." I hear the sentiments that you voiced all of the time. Normally, I bite my tongue and do not engage. So this was an opportunity for me to get it off of my chest.I guess you see me as a flaming libtard.
Nothing could be further from the truth.

It is brilliant. The evil here isBrilliant but considered corrupt by many, the epitome of greed.
His actions should have caused calls to do something about the regulatory approval process.the regulatory approval to manufacture a generic version is expensive
