My favorite languages in terms of sound would probably be:
-Japanese
-Latvian
-French
-Latin
-Serbian
Have you ever tried learning French?
What do you think of Turkish and Hungarian?
>Turkish
No need to learn the language of an impending sharia-roach state. BTW long live Kurdistan
>Hungarian
It's an interesting language, as in the only direct related languages are Finnish and Estonian. Must be very difficult to learn.
I love both languages and both countries very much. I am unsure what is politically going on in either.
What do you think of Czech Republic? or Czechia now lol
Nothing in particular, Just Ättaturk rolling in his grave.

Yes it's awesome, i currently live in Prague. My partner is czech so i moved here. I can't speak any czech though, it's seriously the most difficult language i've ever heard. I'm here now over a year and i only speak a few sentences.

Well this is definitely the most random thing ever posted here. That actually made me laugh out loud in class so thanks for that.
Tio estas mirinda, but why the heck esperanto?Yeah communism never leaves a good taste in people's mouth.
I speak about 6 languages to some degree.
-English (natively)
-Cantonese (natively)
-Spanish (okay)
-Japanese (okay, got from anime mostly)
-Esperanto (first language I learned)
-Russian (my weakest language).
Thanks. I learned Esperanto for two reasons:Tio estas mirinda, but why the heck esperanto?
By skimming your thread i can see you are doing pretty well with your T. Eventually you will achieve that success story (undisguised).
It could be also the language of Mordor, Elvish or even Valerian.1) it's a good idea. There should be a universals lingua franca for all of the earth, and it should be Esperanto or Ido.
Agreed. I was teaching myself a bit of Esperanto pro-t, however practically it only served to network with other Esperantists.2) it is a mix of a bunch of European languages. And it's very easy to learn. That means studying a little Esperanto could put you far ahead in learning most European languages.
Sure, but these languages are extremely hard. Also Esperanto has more speakers than all those combined and is a mix of other languages, making it very easy to learn and flexible. It could be also the language of Mordor, Elvish or even Valerian.

I suppose investing in English, Spanish or French, Russian, Arabic and Chinese gives you a global passport and a good basis to learn other languages. But the above combination would seem impossible. On the other hand if we were cured tomorrow, i would go for it. Challenges of the pre-t life was a walk in the park. "Στερνή μου γνώση, να σε είχα πρώτα."Sure, but these languages are extremely hard. True, but that applies to all languages. Want to speak Italian? You have to find Italian speakers. That means unless you live near where people speak it, you have to go to Italy. My favorite Esperanto place on the internet is /Esperanto/ on 8chan.
