It certainly helped my pain but it won't help everyone. There is some published evidence supporting its use in pain.

It does increase tinnitus in some people though :/.
If they are claiming that then they need to go to prison. Dementia destroys entire families. There is the initial onset where the person still lives at home but gradually starts becoming more and more of a danger to themselves, eventually flopping around like a fish out of water, falling, breaking stuff, getting lost, getting angry etc. Then there is the tragic transition to nursing home facilities. Then there is the constant guilt of knowing they are in the nursing home and trying to make time to go and visit as often as possible and when you're walking down the halls to your loved one's rooms you're just surrounded by other dementia patients staring at you, crying, asking you to get them out, calling you the names of people that they think you are. The smell in these places is always the same, it's like lotion and shit, and then you visit for a couple of hours and then you have to leave and you feel guilty every time you have to go and this goes on like this for years, decades.
