That feeling when you have fun time, but then you remember you still have this debilitating condition which you cannot run away from. It's not the noise itself that will kill me, it's this. Someone ripping your heart out every single day. I'm so tired of this rollercoaster of emotions every fucking day.

yeah im probably gonna off myself once frequency faills not because of FX-322 not working but because of it's inability to navigate the cochlea.

tfw science can only cure hearing loss in a dead monkeys cochlear tissue

I have a feeling it might work, but how well? Maybe I am unrealistic, but I do want my old hearing back, not 30%, not 50% but 100%. I'm afraid that if it doesn't cure my hearing completely, it won't give me the pleasent feeling back that I used to get from ASMR videos. Honestly, there's no feeling like the one you got from those videos and music. It was so relaxing, out of this world and it kept my stress to minimum and the best part, it was natural way, no drugs. I'm pretty sure the relaxed feeling came from ultra high frequences that I have now lost or from the nerve synapses which I have lost. I am also sure the same phenomenon causes those goosebumps when you listen to music even though the article claims otherwise.

If I don't get those back, I'm perfectly okay with my end life ending here and now, not even kidding. Nothing will ever come even close to that.

normies don't judge hearing loss by the ability to enjoy music. as long as you can hear your bosses voice or an 8000 hz beeping noise you get a clean bill of a health from the audiologist.

Yeah, that's the sad part. Due my education and video/audio background I know how important those high frequencies are, so this really is a tailored personal hell for me. My hearing is now like an internet video from early 00s and I hate it.

more advocacy in the future needs to be made for hearing loss awareness and how distortion can cause depression.

my right ear loves to smear hitch pitch nosies in background noise.
