they don't need evidence it's about selling hearing aids. Why are you so afraid of hair cell regeneration drugs. Is there any evidence yet that they can worsen tinnitus?
Congratulations jcb only the people with above average intelligence make it to Michaels ignore list. I probably wont make it @Michael Leigh you hit below the belt and you know it!!!I'm on ignore at last I'm so lucky so you won't get this but your were being extremely patronising about my dyslexia, but it's cool as I've said previously you are unintentionally hilarious with your hyacinth bucket persona you have made up for yourself online. As you like to say your true colours have been shown yet again and the mask has slipped
@JohnAdams I think you fail to understand how someone with severe tinnitus might be panicked over the idea of a potential treatment making things worse.
I wish you good day and you are now blocked (I don't know how to do that but you are)
If you don't know how to enable it I am only to willing to assist.
Yeah, block anyone with an opposing point of view who actually uses logic and critical thinking instead of their feelings, because that is how an adult behaves. @JohnAdams made a legit point why do ENT and audiologists afraid of regenerative biological medicine that can potentially save and improve the lives of millions of people?@brownbear
Some members of Tinnitus Talk and on this thread, have no interest in helping anyone with tinnitus. They are here purely to make trouble and to antagonize people that will succumb to their infantile behaviour. The fact that you are an ENT doctor, something I didn't previously know, now makes you a prime target for their silly little games. Just use the ignore button and block whoever the troublemaker is. If you don't know how to enable it I am only to willing to assist.
All the best
Michael

The fact that you said you have no interest in regenerative medicine to cure tinnitus because you are happy to live with your tinnitus (because of the success of your method) is very telling to me. Be wary of anyone who says they have to answer for everyone; that their way is the only way. Especially if that person resorts to personal attacks if you disagree with them.@brownbear

Fx322? Its not out yet.Why haven't you tried it?
It's not a joke when stuff gets worse. I thought I was suffering, had a surgery for another condition that made it worse, more circles of hell et cetera et cetera. Don't ever underestimate how much worse things can get. Happy Saturday everyone.
No, Lenire. That was what was being talked about in terms of worsenings.Fx322? Its not out yet.
MPP is under attack.
O rly? Whoops. I thought the discussion was about a generic cure. No, Lenire. That was what was being talked about in terms of worsenings.
Think a lot of the normies on here agree with you on that tbh.MPP is officially anti-TRT and anti-CBT. We want research into real treatments and cures. We reject the medical establishment's standard of care. We don't submit to ignorant ENT's. We don't think the system is right.
......er......'to willing'
......or......'too willing?'
When posters get over excited attention to detail
'flies out the window.'
(hope this doesn't make me a trouble maker)
@ArtazanasssYeah, block anyone with an opposing point of view who actually uses logic and critical thinking instead of their feelings, because that is how an adult behaves. @JohnAdams made a legit point why do ENT and audiologists afraid of regenerative biological medicine that can potentially save and improve the lives of millions of people?
Are they just blissfully unaware that regenerative biological medicine is the future of medicine because it's not just some band-aid that covers the problems and even does a horrible job and doing that like CBT and TRT, but actually treats and cures the symptoms and causes of the problems? There is no evidence that inner ear hair cell regeneration worsens the symptoms of tinnitus and hearing loss, but there is now plenty of evidence that it helps Frequency has passed the safety tests, regain has passed the safety tests, bomb blast hearing loss pill has passed the safety tests. And Frequency drug has successfully significantly improved hearing in noise in almost all of their patients and improved 8000 Hz by 10 DB in some of them so why ENT choose to ignore this science and evidence and focus on selling more hearing aids instead of acknowledging that there is hope for the future to treat hearing loss?
The answer is that auditory medical science is corrupt they are too focused on selling TRT and CBT and make profit over ineffective and useless comping therapies it's not just a million, but probably close to a billion-dollar business there a scam like TRT and CBT are promoted to a working-class that shells out an insane amount of cash for a therapies that have so scientific backing as to actually working beside that ENT'S and audiologists still don't perform high-frequency audiograms from 8000-16000 HZ that would show actual damage to a hair cells since very high frequencies are usually the first ones affected by noise-induced hearing loss so there is a lot of gripes to pick with audiologists and a lot of legit critiques to write off all that as trolling is intellectually lazy.
Also, I have a lot of gripes with you, for example, the fact that you still promote and push TRT even as evidence piles up that it is ineffective.
My pleasure Michael.Thank you @Jazzer
I realised my grammar mistake after the time elapsed for me to correct it. I have a lot to do so I'm apt to make mistakes...Thank you once again.
Michael
I know you don't give a damn about anyone who disagrees with you and would discredit their opinion reflexively but you would benefit greatly from watching and absorbing this Ted talk:
My pleasure Michael.
Permit me to wish you a good day,
Jazzer
Like you ever have anything important to say. Thanks for coming to MPP and shitting all over the place with your idiotic posts. When you have something of importance to say I may correspond with you at length.
Except Lenire is totally different. They were extremely upfront about the worsenings, and even included it in their damn Manuel. Later on didn't the CEO even admit 2 out of 3 people experienced them? Sure they called them "temporary", but any tinnitus sufferer will give that a side eye. If you go back through the Lenire thread you can see the hesitation once this was made known. People still tried it despite it being a very KNOWN risk. And still tried it despite knowing the other 2 bimodal devices did not elicit such an effect in their trial patients. No, Lenire. That was what was being talked about in terms of worsenings.
He is an arrogant smug liar. If FX-322 showed good efficacy to reduce tinnitus he would be booking an appointment immediately. The fact that you said you have no interest in regenerative medicine to cure tinnitus because you are happy to live with your tinnitus (because of the success of your method) is very telling to me.
It would be like if they could regenerate limbs and he would tell amputees just to be happy missing a limb. Clearly his whole identity and ego is wrapped up in "having the answer".He is an arrogant smug liar. If FX-322 showed good efficacy to reduce tinnitus he would be booking an appointment immediately.
The "temporary" worsenings certainly put me off. But I don't think for a minute Lenire saying there are "temporary worsenings which all resolve" is "being extremely upfront about the worsenings", if indeed there are permanent worsenings as Allan seems to have reported. If their product causes permanent worsenings they simply need to say it. Doesn't happen enough in medicine. Tell the truth. Temporary and permanent worsenings are different things.Except Lenire is totally different. They were extremely upfront about the worsenings, and even included it in their damn Manuel. Right now regenerative medicine has shown no indication of those risks. But check back in a year when we have the tinnitus data from frequencies' phase 2b.
Fuck me, I'll eat crow if people say their tinnitus worsened from FX-322. Or PIPE-505 if us tinnitus people can get our grubby hidden hearing loss hands on it.
Which is apparently being the toughest most root'in toot'inest mental cowboy on the face of the planet. Like in Braveheart when William Wallace was getting his guts ripped out he shouted "FREEEDOMMMM".It would be like if they could regenerate limbs and he would tell amputees just to be happy missing a limb. Clearly his whole identity and ego is wrapped up in "having the answer".
This used to be a safe haven.I browse here for shitposts and now all I see is Michael Leigh
Hey man, I totally get it, and I think we are pretty much on the same page. The "temporary" worsenings certainly put me off.
