So the other day my right ear gave out and started ringing really loud. I asked my mom if we could go to the doctor as soon as possible. Of course she first recommends me these pills shes been taking for her T, claiming they work. Tinnitus Away they're called I believe. Can someone hear please say that they DON'T work or link me to an article saying they dont? My mom is so convinced they work she wont even take me to the doctor unless I try them.

Wtf this is bad. Bad bad bad. What's the name of the pills? Look them up and show her comments saying they're a scam. Try to see a doctor for steroids ASA-now.

There is no cure for tinnitus. See the link below - many people have tried those lipoflavonoids, most didn't notice any effect. A small fraction had their T fade, but it is not clear whether T would have faded by itself.

If you have been exposed to a loud noise, or if your T is a result of sudden deafness, you need to get prednisone as soon as possible.

For SSHL they say vertigo is a symptom, I didn't experience that. I think it may have to do with me hitting my head a week ago, my left ear tinnitus is gone ever since I hit my head. I don't know if its SSHL though?
