So I don't know where to post this.
I've noticed that thank god, for more than 8 months my tinnitus doesn't spike at all.
I mean don't get me wrong, I have better and worse days.
I do no longer notice them since I've habituated so tinnitus is not a problem to me.
In the past, sugar, salt and MSG used to spike it.
I have had this again after a few months or a year... and not a big difference??
or maybe I'm super used to?
Okey here is another super good thing.
I've been very careful with sounds, for a year, i literally used to runaway even from hand dryers...
I stopped "overprotecting" like 8 months ago.
And everything is fine!
Been to clubs, concerts, airplanes (with earplugs), no difference.
I've been making music at the studio, wearing earphones, and I have had a few accidents like 2 super loud bangs with one of those confetti tubes (they sound like a gunshot) and I even opened a wine bottle and made a terrible noise, no spikes!...
Don't get me wrong I still protect, just not as much as before.
I've gone to the movies with no earplugs and starting making music with no ear plugs too (only when it's too loud).
Also, the only thing that kinda "spikes" my tinnitus is when the weather changes... like... when it got cold this fall, ears, eyes, and body pain was kinda difficult, but not for more than 2 days.
Maybe it's because of reason behind my tinnitus..."fibromyalgia"
Who knows.. I'm doing great these days.
The only thing that gets me a little bit is the "brain fog".
Does anyone experience the same?
