I've had tinnitus for 15 years and habituated to it a long time ago. But for some reason today it's unignorably loud. I seem to have a lot of neck tension so maybe that's it.
September 13th I went to the clinic because of pain twinges on the left side of my head, which was injured in a collision in May. And they recommended getting an MRI. The person who checked my ears mentioned earwax. By the September 17th I concluded the pain was coming from my ear, and when they cleaned it out it hurt really bad. The ear was really sore. So I figure it was impacted with wax.
However, this sudden bout of tinnitus is making me wonder what's going on. Periods of loud tinnitus is nothing new to me, but I'm usually able to ignore it.
