My Trip to Bangkok: Stem Cell Treatment [Comments]

Lots of them have a certain success ratio , that should be obvious or people would not be going for them.
As far as I can tell, this stem cell thing is only anecdotal so far.
Would be nice to see the ones doing the procedure having the slightest idea if it will do any good.

It's nice, but a success ratio is not a guarantee. I don't know any treatment that has guarantees, but since you said there were, I was curious. I also don't know any medical procedure that is reimbursed should it not lead to a successful outcome (it would be great if that existed, but it doesn't AFAIK).

The reason people "go for them" is that they do a pros/cons analysis on the treatment, and decide they are willing to take the chance. Not because there were any guarantees (again, there aren't).

I think it would have been clearer if you had simply stated that "for that price, the success rate better be > 90%" (or pick whatever % you feel comfortable with). I suspect that's what you meant.

You see, stem cell clinic name does not matter as long as you get live and healthy stem cells and you don't get HIV / Hepatitis or some other blood transmittable virus with them. No one is going to say that he can cure your tinnitus in 2016. You have to read research papers, anecdotal reports, talk with people, and eventually find protocol that you think that might work and finally find stem cell clinic that have that protocol for affordable price and safe (no reported cases of viruses). That's your best bet to help yourself with T. I think that we will have to wait at least 2-3 years to see stem cells clinics advertising tinnitus treatment (if at all).

BTW, swiss medica have it under their detox page: http://www.startstemcells.com/safe-and-deep-detoxification.html Unfortunately, detox might work, but not in my case (audio trauma). So I asked them for stem cells and going to get them soon :p

Cheers

This is even better news - as of 2016 for hearing loss / tinnitus one should get only MSCs. Article is about induced pluripotent cells (Yamanaka got 2012 nobel prize for finding way how to make iPSC from skin cells of adult person) - which were thought to be dangerous as they can differentiate in everything - including cancer. So this means that hopefully in a few years we will see clinics using iPSCs and not embryonic SCs.

BTW, MSCs are in use for 40 years now (bone marrow transplantation for various leukemias) and they turned out to be completely safe.

What is your source for the MSCs? Just curious.

This article is a little off-topic, but quite an amazing example of life-changing results that can happen with unproven, experimental, non-FDA approved stem cell therapy.

The stem cell doctor, Jeffrey Weiss in Florida, is the same one who helped a blind police officer in Washington, DC to see again. Her local doctor called her "stupid" for doing the unproven stem cell treatment. But now she can see.

I have just booked mesenchymal stem cell therapy with "Swiss Medica XXI century S.A." in Moscow. I'm scheduled for 8th of July 2016 (tomorrow).
I will be there 12 days and I will get around 1 billion stem cells (they say 5-7 M stem cells per kg of body weight):
- One day I will get my own belly fat SVFs (adipose derived mesenchymal stem and other cells (T cells, B cells ...)).
- On another day I will get my own bone marrow MSCs (that will hurt).
- third day I will get 50 million MSCs from umbilical cord blood (allogenic / donated)
- and 4th and 5th (and optionally 6th) day I will be getting MSCs from umbilical cord (also donated).
Bone marrow and adipose derived stem cells will be mixed with my own PRP (platelet-rich plasma - this is what Dana White got in Germany for his Ménière's).
Rest of the days I will be getting antioxidants, amino acids, minerals, vitamins, Intravenous laser, ultraviolet and oxygen blood therapy (oxygen directly administered into blood).

I have audiograms and ABRs that I did in April showing hearing loss of >8kHz frequencies. Also my tinnitus is in that range. If I survive stem cells therapy, I will go again somewhere around October 2016 to the same place to do again ABRs and audiograms and I will post results here.

Therapy costs 22k EUR or 24300 USD.

Wish me good luck ;-)
Good luck please keep us updated, if it works I would like to go to this clinic also.

Stem cells update: Yesterday I had exactly same as day before yesterday (3 bottles of I.V. infusion followed by oxyven 15 minutes and red laser in vein for 20 mins). But today I finally got my first 80 millions stem cells from umbilical cord. They started with some big injection in lower part of the back, then 2 bottles of I.V. nutrients and then finally stem cells followed with again same big injection in lower part of the back (still hurts). This is also time for some fotos - per request from @Mithrandir @Stakovic and probably others ;-)

I really hope this helps and was not for nothing ;-)

Update: so 1 hour and a half after stem cells were transfused I felt for 20 seconds cold in my left (tinnitus) outer ear canal. When I was taking corticosteroids in April, I was feeling itching in the same place ;-) No idea what it means - but better any reaction than nothing.

Cheers

Much appreciated that you share your experiences with the rest of us, and adding some photos doesn't hurt. (Sorry to sound like a paranoid, but on an internet message board, some documentation is helpful for credibility.)

We know that ATEOS benefited from stem cell therapy. Then we have that other fella, FERNANDO GIL, who used both LLLT and stem cells, and got better, but couldn't pinpoint how much the stem cells contributed. Save from that it's very hazy. I recall the clinic where ATEOS recieved his treatment said they had helped another T-sufferer? Chloe Sohl also improved, but her degnerative decease may not be the best blueprint for people with T due to loud noise.

You should know after two or three months if it works out. If so, it will be big news.

Wishing you all the luck with your treatment ......great photos....lots of love glynis

Thanks a lot @grate_biff @Pleasure_Paulie @RaZaH @Reinier @Vincent R @Stakovic @Sebastians @glynis
I will keep you all posted!
BTW, I got in contact with one MS patient that had T as well. She undergo stem cell treatment and was listed on www.donmargolis.com blog / web site. I searched by name, found her on facebook and asked her how is her T now and if it helped. This is what she wrote: "You know mine was for MS so... Tinnitus is a real pain, physically feels like crackling. It only does that very occasionally now after my trearment., the radio static fuzz is left as well but it is still the faintly."
She had it due to MS / autoimmune problem and stem cells really helps in that case. We will see if it help in case of noise induced tinnitus as well (should be second worst case according to studies that were done on rats - worst case being noise + antibiotics and best being only antibiotics)

Thanks and cheers !

Well done mate
Good luck and yes these are the heavy duty nurses - you don't want to mess with.

They probably could shake your tinnitus out of you if they wanted
