- Acoustic Trauma
I saw a doctor today. I was trying to get more prednisone. The doctor banged some metal object against his desk, causing it to vibrate. Then he surprised me by pressing it against my forehead, and asking me where I heard it.
Now I am again experiencing ear fullness. It is very bad.
I suspect that it was that test that did this to me. If I can find out the name of the test, I can try to research what it can do to ears, and whether it can cause a permanent T spike. Would anyone know the name of this test?
Another thing that happened is that after she learned that I was suffering from recent acoustic trauma, the nurse left the room and slammed the door behind her with a super loud bang. As I saw the door about to be slammed, I threw myself towards it, trying to prevent it from slamming, but I was too late. I made it worse for myself, as I got closer to the source of the bang... I had an earplug in, and I had been around slamming doors before, so I still think it was the forehead test that messed me up.
What a nightmare! A never-ending nightmare...
