- Dont know? Maybe loud headphones over ear? Not sure
I got T last night about a month ago sitting in Spanish class, (no loud noise or anything) and it really bothered me for first few weeks but im okay now its just an annoyance when trying to sleep.
I went to the audiologist and i took a hearing a test, like a one where you put a head set on and you are in a padded room with like the sound board thingies and the person testing you is in a different room and speaking to you through the headset. My audiogram was perfect. Absolutely 0 hearing loss.
I saw the ent a few weeks later and he said its probably really high frequency hearing loss. I play video games and listen to music but i always made sure volume was at around 50 percent and i also looked up my headset decibel out put and it couldnt go over 90 at max volume and i never had it even close to highest setting.
But now on to the tricky part. I asked the ENT about TMJ because my jaw near the join and behind the jaw is always very tender and he completely just dismissed that since im 15. About a week ago i yawned and my jaw locked up badly and didnt get unstuck for like a second or 2. I also wake up with tension headaches almost every day and I'm nauseous most mornings. I've gotten dizzy on 1-2 occasions where im just sitting on my pc playing a game or something ( no headset, ive been avoidin them).
I thought my ring was high pitch but i looked up examples of high pitch T and its nowhere even close to as ear piercing as mine. Mine seems so much lower pitched but i just dont know what to think now.
I'm trying to fight this T in 2 ways, habituation and trying to see if theres a way i can maybe get rid of it or even lessen it. What do you guys think?
