Is there any good well known neuromodulation clinics preferably in Germany or Switzerland , maybe UK ,
I've read some really good reviews about it treating constant tone tinnitus , I would like really someone who's done it or made research about it to tell me more it looks quite promising , here in Dubai there is literally nothing for tinnitus 0 (zero) , nada , nill pharmacist don't even know what it is , I'm really surprised by the level of knowledge they have here about ears or health in general it sucks to be sick in this country ( I still love it tho)

Do they do rtms to ? Or only Nmdl?
no they do rTMS and tDCS ... they had better results with tDCS so that`s why they want to start with that ... but after that I will ask them to do the same treatement as described in the article ... I send the head of the Tinnitus department this article today ... they havn`t heard of it ... neither of Autifony ... or HIFU ... or ... anything else not listed on their website ... o_O

Nice man , I wish you the best luck for it , if they don't know about neuromodulation or autifony it won't seem like I'll be going to it
But keep us updated man good luck my tomorrowland friend ;)

I definitely will , thanks man!

I went to the tinnitus clinic in London on Harley st. Professional outfit. They offer two treatments; neuromodulation and desensitizing treatment. Expensive; $5000 for the modified hearing aids, but for me life saving.

Any benifit from the nueromodualtion?

I got the desensitization package. A broad spectrum white noise custom programmed to mask and treat. For neuromodulation you need to have a one tone T, which I did not have. Yes I received great benefit. It masks the T very well during the day which makes me less aware and thus less aware of T. Over the last 6 months my T has reduced in severity from a 9/10 to 4/10, a significant improvement. The audiologist expects full results by month 12.

This is exactly how TRT is supposed to work, and it's great to hear from someone on here who's having success with it. Overall this forum is very negative about TRT, and it's nice to be reminded that this stuff really does work for some people.

I am glad to hear you're doing so much better!

The trick to TRT is consistency. I have to wear my hearing aids every day. And then at night when I take them out I listen to purple noise on my phone. You want to get to where the T is masked continually. If I start slacking and stop wearing the aids for a few days, the T is more bothersome and it gets more intrusive again. Desensitizing treatment takes commitment.

Tinnitus Clinic London shows a beautiful video on YouTube about treatment with Acoustic CR® Neuromodulation:

National Institute for Health Research Nottingham Hearing Biomedical Research Unit, Ropewalk House, 113 The Ropewalk, Nottingham, NG1 5DU, UK emailed me the unpublished results of the double blind study comparing Acoustic CR® Neuromodulation to placebo. This study was paid for by the Tinnitus Clinic in London but was not published because the sponsor claims that the study is "weak in its design and conduct".

The sponsor instead recommends reading more about the trial and its evaluation in this statement from
the Nottingham Hearing Biomedical research unit:

http://www.hearing.nihr.ac.uk/resea...-acoustic-cr-neuromodulation-treatment-for-ti

In short, the study fails to show efficacy of Acoustic CR® Neuromodulation: Tinnitus Handicap Inventory (THI) decreased from 45.94 to 42.38 after 12 weeks treatment with Acoustic CR® Neuromodulation; and from 44.72 to 41.56 after 12 weeks treatment with placebo. (Maximal THI questionnaire score is 100).

You can get the results of double blind study by emailing Dr Hoare to Derek.Hoare@nottingham.ac.uk

Thank you.

For neuromodulation you need to have a one tone T

That could work for me. Would be interested if there is anyone on this forum who has done it already.
Am starting to be ready to swallow this immense price of 5000 $ and just pay if of over a view years.

Do you know of somebody in this forum who has done it ?

For now I am going to try the free of charge version (which I found a view seconds ago):

Cant post links yet hence here as pseudo Link:
