I have had tinnitus for about 15 years. What is odd, is that it never starts or stops while I am awake. If I go to bed with my head ringing, I might wake up without it ringing or not. If I wake up in the morning and my head is ringing, if I can go back to sleep it might not be ringing when I wake up. Crazy thing.

Welcome to the forum.:welcomesignanimation:

This is very strange, indeed, @Sbrooks. May I ask, what caused your tinnitus?

So you have days when you do not hear the ringing???

Once

Yeah tinnitus is a strange thing. From my experience I sometimes am tinnitus free for like a day or two full days and then it starts again. If only someone could understand what's happening in my brain.

Yeah, it's nice but sometimes I'm just like sitting in a chair a bit down waiting for it to come back. And yeah sometimes I kind of 'worry' that this will interfere with me habituating.
